This review is written on November 5th, 2024, Tuesday.
This is the first weekly review. This series is expected to be updated once a week, and all of them will be published on csmoe.top/weekly-reviews .
I hereby acknowledge Asuka Minato, who acted as an inspector in this project.
Currently I’m working on the American Mathematics Competition 12, and actually, I’ve spent about a month and a half preparing for it. The paper A will be held on Nov 7, and the paper B will be held on Nov 13. I do hope that I can get a good grade in this competition - not only will it provide a strong evidence on my ability on Mathematics, but it will also commemorate the same day last year when I failed in AMC 10.
For this week, all of the subjects are progressed on as normal. While Mathematics is still relatively easy(currently we are learning about logarithm and exponential functions), Economics has become much more difficult in the new chapter, which is about protectionism. I have to say that for me, the past Microeconomics part is much more easier than the Macroeconomics part. Physics is still challenging as usual, especially for the superposition of waves chapter, and so is Chemistry. Organic chemistry has always been a problem for me, especially for things like carboxylic acids as well as esters. Yesterday, I spent 3 hours in the laboratory working on an experiment on a past paper, and sadly, my data collected had just no relationship with the current ones. As for Further Mathematics, more exercises are still necessary for this subject. The monthly test is coming in 2 weeks, and I have to spend some time working on it.
I also spent a few hours practicing for the coming dubbing competition in the school. It is really fun, especially when watching my classmates trying their best to imitate the characters in different movies.
Apart from this weekly review, I also wrote a plan about what I’m going to do for the next few months. It will be published soon, in a day or two perhaps.
