The setup of this site

This site is built with Gridea. It provides both hosted and self-host options. I decided to choose the hosted plan as I don’t want to spend plenty of time to test the servers or build the environment.

The hosted plan is hosted on Vercel and Supabase, and it seems to work quite smoothly till now.

The price of the hosted plan is 10 USD per year currently, and I do think it is of great value as it doesn’t limit the storage and traffic usage (till now).

Currently I’m in senior high school, and I plan to rebuild this site when I graduate.

The domain, csmoe.top, is ordered on Dynadot. I wanted to order it on Namesilo or Cloudflare Registrar, but as a friend has some balance on Dynadot, he helped me order this domain for 3 years.

At the same time, I used Cloudflare to block access from China Mainland and the IPs whose fraud scores are higher than 10. Those IPs whose fraud scores are higher than 5 are challenged.

Currently the DNS servers of the domain are the Cloudflare ones. Still, Cloudflare DNS is one of the best in the market, I think.

I am planning to add the comments function to this site, and I’m considering to use Cusdis rather than Disqus. The hosted plan of Cusdis is currently 12 USD per year. Seems to be a good price (also based on Vercel, but with PostgreSQL).

So that’s it. I “had” my own blog before I’m 18 :). I did it.
